ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] (1)Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.

(2)The present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner / mother of the detenue Renuka Devi, aged about 28 years to direct the respondents to cause production of her daughter before this Court and to set her at liberty.

(3)The case of the petitioner is that his daughter Ms.V.Renuka Devi, aged about 28 years is found missing from 25.04.2024. The petitioner had given a complaint, based on which the 2nd respondent has issued CSR No.234/2024 on 26.04.2024 and since no further action has been taken, the present petition has been filed.

(4)When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a

preliminary enquiry was conducted and the respondent police came to understand that the petitioner's daughter Renuka Devi, a major, had married one Anil Babu and is residing with him in Andhra Pradesh. (5)The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also furnished before this Court photographs sent to the 2nd respondent by the detenue Renuka Devi which were taken during her marriage. He would further add that enquiry is going on and as and when the detenue appears before the respondent police, it will be intimated to the petitioner herein. (6)Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition stands closed.
