O R D E R

With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.Based upon the documents such as Water Tax receipt, House Tax receipt, Property Tax receipt, Electricity Bill, Ration Card and Voter ID and the decree obtained in OS.No.240/1996, the petitioner made a representation on 01.10.2014 seeking patta for the property in S.No.77, admeasuring an extent of 3 cents in Perumalai Road, Thittakudi, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District. The non-consideration of the same, has made the petitioner to file the present writ petition.

3.Taking into consideration, the pendency of the representation, a direction is issued to the petitioner to submit a copy of the said representation dated 01.10.2014 along with a copy of this order to the respondent herein within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter, either by himself or by directing his subordinate officials to do the said exercise. It is well open to the respondent or his subordinate officials, as the case may be, to enquire any third party, if so required.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
