Earlier, this Court by an order dated 31.03.2023 disposed of the above Criminal Original Petitions and granted further period of four weeks for making the deposit of 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of S.T.C.Nos.1032 and 1026 of 2021 on the file of Special Metropolitan Magistrate's Court/XVI Court of Small Causes at Chennai. However, today when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for petitioner would submit that unfortunately, the petitioner could not mobilise the funds to comply the said condition within time, since her father died on 29.03.2023 due to cardiac arrest. Now, she is ready and willing to deposit the amount as directed by this court. Accordingly, she filed the present petition to extend the time already granted by this Court.

2. Considering his submissions, these petitions are ordered and time is extended to the petitioner till 22.05.2023 to deposit the 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of S.T.C.Nos.1032 and 1026 of 2021 on the file of Special Metropolitan Magistrate's Court/XVI Court of Small Causes at Chennai respectively, from the date on which, the order copy made ready.
