This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second not to harass the petitioners

2. The main grievance according to the petitioner is that the respondents police is forcing the petitioner to evict the property and hand it over to the other side.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no such thing has happened and the respondents police are not harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

4. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police.

5. Such being a position, the police has no right to force the party to hand over the possession to the other side. During enquiry, if the matter is found to be civil in nature, the police shall relegate the parties to the Civil Court.
