O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the payments relating to difference of gratuity, EL surrender as per 13th wage settlement and last month 10 days salary amounts and considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2025 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is entitled to revise the petitioner's wage in terms of the 13th wage settlement with effect from 01.09.2016 and to pay the difference in payment of terminal benefits such as gratuity, EL surrender and last month 10 days salary amount. It is also the submission of the petitioner that in this regard, she had sent representation on 17.02.2025, and the same was not considered by the respondents.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said 2/5

representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
