ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to grant police protection for erecting bore well in the petitioner's property.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the first respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has already lodged a complaint before the first respondent and the same was enquired and closed by the first respondent. Further, the first respondent has also directed the petitioner to approach the Civil Court for appropriate direction. It is also seen that the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 7 are civil in nature. 4.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief in the manner known to 2/4

law.
