(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the appeal against the order dated 09.12.2025 passed in OP No.1008 of 2025 on the file of the V Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2.Notice had been directed to the respondent, notice had been served and proof affidavit had also been filed. But there is no appearance for the respondent.

3.In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it had been stated that the delay in applying for the certified copy arose because the previous counsel failed to inform the petitioner about the disposal of the case by the trial court. Consequently, the delay occurred while subsequently obtaining a legal opinion to file the appeal.

4.In view of the reasons stated, the delay stands condoned. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
