(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2021 and to transfer patta in his name in respect of the property in Survey Nos.148/3-0.45.5 hectares and 148/4 - 0.43.5 hectares situated at Gangaisoodamani, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. According to the petitioner, pursuant to the decree passed in the suit for specific performance in O.S.No. 118 of 2008, on the file of Sub-Court, Arni, a sale deed has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

executed in favour of petitioner in document dated 13.02.2014, and the judgment and decree passed by the trial court has also become final. Thereafter, pursuant to the sale deed executed in his favour, the petitioner said to have filed an application before the 2nd respondent Tahsildar seeking to issue patta in his favour on 16.04.2021. So far, his application was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
