O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to file a final report in Crime No.33 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one John Varghese, who was working as a Manager in the Central Bank of India, Latteri Branch. The said complaint was also lodged against one Vasu, the Accountant of the said branch, one Sankaran, the Cashier and Kishore, who was the another Manager of the said branch at the relevant point of time. The said complaint was registered by the first respondent in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.33 of 2014 for the offences under sections 409, 465, 471 and 420 of IPC. Though the said complaint was registered as early on 21.09.2014, till date, there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, this petition has been filed by the petitioner to expedite the investigation and to file a final report.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the investigation involves lot of documents to be verified, it would take some time for the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2015 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
