The Writ Petition has been filed with a limited prayer to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 18.7.2017 preferred by the petitioner seeking release of the accumulated Earned Leave standing to his credit on the date of retirement, without further delay.

Mr.L.P.Shanmughasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents sought four weeks time to dispose of the representation of the petitioner. 3.

In view of the limited prayer made in the Writ Petition and also taking into consideration of the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
