ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to record/include the name of the second wife of the petitioner namely, Sudha in the service register of the petitioner being maintained by the third respondent, within the time frame as fixed by this court.
2. Heard the learned counsels appearing to both the parties and I have perused the materials on record.
3. The petitioner is working as Head Master in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Ajjampatty, Pappireddipatty Taluk, Dharmapuri District. His wife K.Senbagarani died on 01.11.2014 and he married one Sudha on 05.02.2020 and their marriage was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
registered before the Sub Registrar, Pappireddipatty. After the death of his first wife, the petitioner's second wife became legally wedded wife and hence he submitted several representations to the respondents along with proofs to register her name in his service register. But, they have not registered. Hence the writ petition.
4. Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned counsel taking notice for the respondents submitted that, the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the third respondent and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law.
5. Inview of the above submission and also considering the limited scope of prayer, without expressing any opinion on merits, this court is inclined to pass the following order. i) The third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2022 and to pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
