By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.V.Vijay Prasahanth, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of mandamus to the District Collector, to consider and pass orders based on his representation dated 24.11.2014. By the said representation, the petitioner has requested the District Collector to re-consider his decision taken in its order dated 07.08.2011.

4.The petitioner would state that though in the said order it has been stated that the land is in a 'back water' area and it will be inundate during rainy season. However, the petitioner would submit that in the very same area numerous apartments have been constructed and recently construction activities have commenced for establishing Regional Transport Office and Taluk Office and therefore, seeks for re-considering his request. 5.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, there will be a direction to the second respondent consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
