The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the application seeking premature release of the petitioner/convict prisoner was considered and the Government issued G.O.(Ms)No.446, Home (Prison-IVA) Department dated 26.07.2024, releasing the petitioner/life convict prisoner No.15145, Kumar @ Metti @ Murugan, S/o. Balasubramanian, prematurely. In view of the said Government Order, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken. Consequently, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
