The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate and file a final report in Crime No.818 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on 25.11.2014, while the petitioner was riding his Splendor bearing registration No.TN 19 1454 on NH45, he was hit by a car TATA ACE bearing registration No.TN22 BP 3495, which was travelling in the same direction near Mahendra City. The accident took place at about 2.30 p.m. In the said accident, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

suffered severe injury on his shoulder and also suffered fracture and he took treatment in the hospital for more than three weeks. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered by the respondent police in Crime No.818 of 2014 on 27.11.2014 under sections 279 and 337 IPC. But till date there is no progress in the case. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.818 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
