ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd Respondent to give adequate police protection to enable the 2nd Respondent to complete the survey of the property comprised in Survey Field No.156B, situated at Sholinganallur Taluk, measuring a total extent of 2,400 sq.ft, within the time stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had purchased the property comprised in Survey Filed No.156B, measuring an extent of 2,400 sq.ft., from one Mr.Raja Mansingh, represented by his duly authorized Power Agent, namely, Mrs.Jeyanthi Krishnamoorthy, through a valid and registered Sale Deed bearing document No.241 of 1997 dated 22.01.1997. Pursuant to the said purchase, the revenue records have been duly mutated in favour of the petitioner.
3. While so, certain third parties allegedly interfered with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property. Hence, the petitioner submitted an application before the second respondent seeking survey of the
land by remitting the requisite fees. Pursuant thereto, the second respondent initiated steps to conduct the survey. However, the Surveyor was unable to complete the survey due to obstruction caused by third parties.
4. In view of the above, if the Surveyor faces any obstruction while conducting the survey of the petitioner's property, upon a request being made, the third respondent / Inspector of Police shall enquire into the matter and pass appropriate orders for providing adequate police protection to enable the survey to be conducted, strictly in accordance with law.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
