CRIME NO.297 OF 2022 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to Modify the Para 6 Financial condition imposed on him in the order passed in Crl.OP.NO.12325/2022 dated 26.05.2022 and consequently extend the time limit for complying the Financial condition, furnishing sureties and executing bail bonds before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court No.II Egmore, Chennai.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S S.B.VISWANATHAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. V.J.PRIYADARSANA, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 26.05.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.12325 of 2022 to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- by way of Demand Draft to the Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is a poor coolie and he does not have financial source to mobilize and pay such a huge sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA) as directed by this Court.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the deposit amount from Rs.1,00,000/- to Rs.50,000/- to the credit of Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai and other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered.

5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
