O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection for erecting cell phone tower in the vacant land situated in S.No.200/8, Perumal Koil Street, Chellampatti Village, Namakkal District for two days at the cost of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that on the complaint given by the petitioner's son, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.158 of 2015, before the 2nd respondent.

4. It appears that the petitioner had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with M/s.Hindus Towers Ltd. on 26.06.2015 for erecting cell phone towers. Steps are being taken by M/s.Hindus Towers https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ltd. for putting up cell phone towers in the leased out land, which is being objected by some neighbours. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, the respondent Police is directed to look into the nature of the petition in CSR.No.158 of 2015 and give police protection as sought for by the petitioner.
