ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a modification of the order dated 13.06.2024 passed by this Court in W.P. No. 13730 of 2015. The

petitioner specifically prays for a direction to the respondents to disburse the Sixth Pay Commission arrears along with all consequential benefits, including ex-gratia pension, within a stipulated time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.It is observed that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P. No. 26108 of 2015 dated 13.06.2024. In view of the same, and to ensure consistency in the relief granted to similarly placed persons, this Court is inclined to allow the petition as prayed for.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as prayed for. The order dated 13.06.2024 passed in W.P. No. 13730 of 2015 is modified to the extent indicated above. The respondents are directed to disburse the arrears, and it goes without saying that the amounts shall be released at the earliest. No costs.
