This petition is filed to condone the delay of 641 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Mr. J. Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent did not raise any objection in allowing this petition. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, this petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number C.M.A.Sr. No. 60775 of 2025, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same on 19.01.2026.

4. It is made clear that for the period of delay of 641 days, the petitioners will not be entitled for any interest if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
