The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation dated 11.03.2025, in accordance with law and rectify the mistake which occurred during UDR Scheme in respect of the petitioner and his co-owner's lands measuring 0.65.5 Hectares in S.F.No.608/3, situated at Thorapalli Agraharam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to respondents 2 & 3 is dispensed with.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has inherited the subject property from his paternal grandfather. However, during the UDR scheme, the patta has been wrongly issued in the name of the private

respondents. Hence, he has sent a representation dated 11.03.2025 to the first respondent. Since the same was not considered the present writ petition has been filed.

4. At the outset, it was submitted by learned Additional Government Pleader for first respondent that the representation dated 11.03.2025, made by petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 11.03.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after putting respondents 2 & 3 and any other interested parties/stake holders on notice and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, respondents 2 & 3 and any other interested parties/stake holders. It is made clear that this Court has

not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the first respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
