The present writ petition is directed against the impugned proceedings dated 02.02.2018 of the respondent / the Director of medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai, in and by which, the respondent has published the list of 45 persons fit for promotion to the post of Superintendent, but, the name of the petitioner was not found place.
2. Mr.R.P.Prathapsingh, learned Government Advocate, by accepting notice for the respondent and also placing on record the proceedings dated 06.02.2018 of the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai, addressed to the learned Special Government Pleader, submitted that the petitioner is now placed in-between N.Gangadhar Rao (Seniority No.525A) and L.Neyaz Ahmed (Senioirty No.786). However, by raising an objection, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the promotional counselling has already been over, now the petitioner has to loose his chance of selecting the convenient of place for him.

In reply, learned Government Advocate, on taking instruction from Mr.S.Jayakumar, Office Superintendent, Office of the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai, submitted that even now, there are vacancies available in Chennai and therefore, the petitioner can be accommodated in Chennai itself. The said submission is recorded.

Considering the fact that the claim of the petitioner seeking to fix her seniority has been considered by the respondent as per the proceedings dated 06.02.2018 cited supra and also taking note of the fact that the respondent has also agreed to accommodate the petitioner in Chennai itself, the present writ petition filed by the petitioner seeking to include her name in the seniority list is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
