Prayer : Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of Detention passed by the second respondent dated 22.04.2024 in C.M.P.NO.30/GOONDA/Salem City/2024 against the petitioner Husband Abdul Munaf @ Cellsettu, Male aged 37 years S/o.Varusai Mohammed, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3506, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 05.06.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
