By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The case of the petitioner is that now, he is working as an Office Assistant in the State Human Rights Commission (Tamil Nadu) and he has been continuously working without any break from the year 1999. But, his service was not regularised.

3. It is further state that the petitioner is entitled for regularisation and therefore, he sent a representation to the respondent dated 22.09.2015 requesting to regularise his service. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr.P.Rajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner had filed the earlier writ petition in W.P.No.29160 of 2010 for the same https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

prayer, which is also pending before this Court. He further submit that though the petitioner has filed this writ petition for regularisation, he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider his representation. 5.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Rajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
