This Criminal Revision filed under Section 397 read with 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure against the order in Na.Ka.No.3611/A3/12 dated 26.10.2012 made by the the SubDivisional Magistrate & Revenue Divisional Officer, Ponneri. For Petitioner : V.Swaminathan - Party-in-person - No Appearance For Respondents : Mr.R.Ravichandran Government Advocate (Crl.Sdie)

When the criminal revision was taken up for hearing on 16.08.2018, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has handed over the bundle to the petitioner and he has also filed a memo dated 16.08.2018 to that effect. Hence it was directed to print the name of the petitioner and to be listed on 03.09.2018 under the caption "for disposal". Accordingly today the matter is listed under the caption for disposal.

Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the petitioner is not appeared either in person or through counsel. Hence, since the revision is pending from the year 2013 and still the petitioner is not come forward to conduct the case, this Court has no other option, except to dismiss the same for non-prosecution.

Accordingly, the criminal revision is dismissed for non-prosecution. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
