O R D E R
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the complaint lodged on 06.11.2015.

The petitioner is residing in Thalavedu, Thumbikilam Village, Tiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District. The petitioner purchased a land to an extent of 2.40 acres in Survey Nos.226/5, 228/12, 33/14, 33/9A, 34/16A and 35/11, Thazhavedu Village Hamlet at Thumbikulam Village. The petitioner executed a registered Settlement Deed in favour of his son in respect of the above property. As the son of the petitioner was working at Bangalore by doing A.C. Repairs and running Xerox shop, he entrusted the said land to the petitioner to look after the said land and for doing cultivation. While so, the petitioner's brother one Rajendran and his wife Meena and her Sister's husband Saesha with an intention to grab the property, frequently came with hooligans and attacked the petitioner and threatened him. Immediately, the petitioner lodged a complaint with respondent police. Now the petitioner has come forward https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
with the present petition seeking police protection for the petitioner and his family members.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner C.S.R.No.589 of 2015 has been assigned and a detailed enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and the said complaint was closed since both the parties represented that they would dissolve the dispute before the civil forum. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.
