ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Statutory Revision filed under Section 153 of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 by the petitioner on 04.12.2017, wherein the petitioner has requested the 1st respondent to reconsider/revoke the order of suspension dated 24.11.2017 passed against him by the 2nd respondent, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was working as Salesman in the 2nd respondent Society. While so, the 2nd respondent has passed the impugned order, thereby suspending him from service without giving any opportunity and without assigning any valid reasons. The learned Counsel further submitted that since the petitioner has been kept under prolonged suspension from 24.11.2017, it is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

difficult for him to eke out his livelihood. Hence, the petitioner preferred a Statutory Revision before the 1st respondent. But the same has not been disposed of. 3.

Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents sought for four weeks time to consider and dispose of the Statutory Revision of the petitioner. 4.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and also taking into account the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Revision dated 4.12.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
