ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation pending in F.I.R. No.246 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to CBCID or any other competent agency and to file the final report.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Investigating Officer is not conducting a fair investigation and he is demanding money for closing the case in respect of which, he has already sent a representation against the second respondent.

3. Though the learned Additional Public Prosecutor denied such allegations, keeping in mind that already some allegations have been made against the second respondent and if the investigation is again conducted by them, there will be a suspicion that the investigation is not conducted in a fair manner.

4. In such view of the matter, the investigation in F.I.R. No.246 of 2022 is transferred to District Crime Branch, Tiruvannamalai. The second respondent is directed to transfer the case in F.I.R. No.246 of 2022 to District Crime Branch, 2/4
