ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in the FIR in Crime No.610 of 2021 in so far as the petitioner/A-4 is concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the charge sheet has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Virudhachalam, during December 2021 but the same has not been taken on file.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the copy application indicates that the charge sheet has not been received by the Court below.

4. In such view of the matter, if the charge sheet is filed, the concerned Magistrate is directed to act on merits expeditiously and the learned Magistrate cannot keep the matter pending.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
