Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner in any one of the suitable posts in the Tamil Nadu Police Department on compassionate grounds on the basis of the representation / application given by the petitioner on 28.01.2021 by implementing the G.O.Ms.No.18, Labour and Employment [Q1] Department dated 23.01.2020.

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to implement G.O.Ms.No.18, dated 23.01.2020 and to appoint the petitioner in any of the suitable posts in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Tamil Nadu Police Department on compassionate ground by considering her representation dated 28.01.2021. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2021 on merits within a stipulated time frame.

This Court heard the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in her representation or in this writ petition, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.20201 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.
