O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and to quash the proceedings/charge sheet in S.C.No.70 of 2023 pending on the file of the 2nd Additional District and Sessions Court, Chidambaram.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepting notice for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in the case in counter, the accused got aquittal. Hence, he prayed that this case has be to quashed.

4. From a reading of the materials, there are prima facie materials available as against the petitioners to proceed with the case. Further, the witnesses have spoken to about the involvement of the petitioners in this case. Therefore, this is not a fit case for quashing.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings/charge sheet in S.C.No.70 of 2023 pending on the file of the 2nd Additional District and Sessions Court, Chidambaram as this Court does not find any merits in this case

6. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy before the Trial Court in a manner known to law. 03.06.2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To
