O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to give protection to the life of the petitioner and his family and take necessary action on the 5th respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a grocery shop in village, despite his complaint against the fifth respondent, Panchayat President, for threatening him to withdraw the suit in O.S.No.250 of 2017 pending between the petitioner and his neighbour, no action has been taken by the respondent police.

4. In such view of the matter, if any such complaint is pending, the respondent police is directed to enquire the matter within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
