Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 3rd Respondent herein relating to the Award No.3 of 2017 dated 14.06.2017 and quash the same insofar as it relates to the petitioner's property situate at in Survey No.2560/39 Block No.41 of Tondiarpet Village, bearing old door No.10, New Door No.39 Ramanuja Iyer Street, Old Washermenpet, Chennai-600 021 and consequently forbear the Respondents from dispossessing the petitioner from the said property without passing the award in terms of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and the Chennai Metro Rail Limited have arrived at a private negotiation for settlement as regards compensation payable and hence the petitioner is not interested to proceed further in this case and she also made necessary endorsement in the petition to that effect.
