O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.07.2015 pursuant to CSR.No.688/2015 dated 13.10.2015 issued by the respondent.

2. On 29.07.2015, when the petitioner went to open his shop, he was restrained by one Sathya, Rajendran, Padma and Kasthuri and they have also put up a lock on the petitioner's shop and scolded the petitioner in filthy language. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police, but till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint dated 29.07.2015, CSR.No.688/2015 was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

assigned but no cognizable offence has been made out on the allegation made in the complaint. Thus, he opposed the above direction.

5. Considering the submission made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 29.07.2015 and dispose of the CSR.No.688/2015 in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
