PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the employees as well as the machinery of the petitioner society for laying the pipeline beneath the earth in the lands comprised in S.Nos.137/1F1, 137/1F2, 137/8 and adjacent lands situate in Solasiramani Village, Paramathy Velur Taluk, Namakkal District, in compliance with the G.O.No.286 Public Works (N1) Department dated 18.11.2020 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025.

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to the employees as well as the machinery of the petitioner society for laying the pipeline beneath the earth in the lands comprised in S.Nos.137/1F1, 137/1F2, 137/8 and adjacent lands situate in Solasiramani Village, Paramathy Velur Taluk, Namakkal District, in compliance with the G.O.No.286 Public Works (N1) Department dated 18.11.2020 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025. 2/4

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner & the fifth respondent and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
