By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition seeking quash of the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent dated 12.04.2019 in Ka.No.U.Se.Po/E&Pa/Perimet/Ko.Me.E/A.09 and consequently, direct the respondents to provide three phase service connection to the petitioner's EB Service Connection bearing Consumer No.144/021/294 for the premises at Old No.58-L, New No.215/146, Sydenhams Road, Periamet, Chennai - 600003.
3. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and presently, the property is having single phase electricity connection. Petitioner has applied for three phase connection, but the same was refused by the fourth respondent vide the impugned order. Hence, petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief.
5. On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner deposits the requisite charges, respondents will provide three phase connection to the subject property. The said submission is recorded.
6. In view of the submission made by learned Standing Counsel for respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to deposit the requisite charges for three phase electricity connection and if it is done, respondents are directed to provide three phase electricity connection to the subject property.
