This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.08.2016 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that there is a matrimonial dispute between this petitioner and his wife and they are estranged. There is also a matrimonial case pending between them in OP.No.3732 of 2014 before the Family Court, Chennai. While so, it is alleged by the petitioner that the house in which, she is living was purchased in his wife's name and that, she is not giving duplicate key. It is also alleged that when he asked for the duplicate key, she is threatening him.

4. On reading of the complaint, it is seen that this petitioner has not even stated the date on which, the said incident had been taken place. Under such circumstances, no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

positive direction can be issued as prayed for by the petitioner.
