O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint dated 26.06.2015 lodged by the petitioner with the Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam District, which is pending enquiry on the file of the respondent and complete investigation and file a final report.

2. The petitioner herein lodged complaint against Balakrishnan, Niraimathi, Panbu, Amutha and Varagan on the allegation of land grabbing. Since no action was taken, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on enquiry, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent police has closed the complaint stating that the issue is pending before the civil court.

4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the same, since the complaint was already enquired and closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
