O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 22.11.2015 and investigate the matter further.

2. A complaint was lodged as against one Jeyakanth and Jothi stating that they collected a sum of Rs.3 lakhs assuring that they would secure a job for the petitioner but they created a fake G.O. copy and handed over to the petitioner. Later, when the petitioner verified, he came to know that he was cheated by them. Hence, he lodged complaint before the respondent police on 22.11.2015 but till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent by the petitioner by registered post, very recently. If the petitioner gives a complaint in person to the first respondent, necessary action will be taken.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the first respondent police along with a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the first respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
