O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Cock Fight in the petitioner's Village ground at Vaikalkarai, Kuttamuniyappan Kovil, Kesari Mangalam Post, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District-638 311 from 16.05.2025 to 19.05.2024 between 09.00 a.m to 06.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. It is further directed that the first

respondent, while disposing of the said representation, shall take note of the conditional order passed by this Court in W.P.No.592 of 2023 dated 09.01.2023.

4. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
