ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass orders on the Statutory Appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 3.8.2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Aggrieved against the order of dismissal of the petitioner dated 07.07.2017, the petitioner has preferred a Statutory Appeal on 3.8.2017 before the respondent herein. Since the petitioner has lost his job and his livelihood, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the statutory appeal of the petitioner may be directed to be disposed of within a time stipulated by this Court.

3.Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, sought two months time to dispose of the pending appeal of the petitioner on merits.

4. Recording the statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the District Collector, Chennai, to dispose of the Statutory Appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 3.8.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
