ORDER

The parties have in principle, arrived at an amicable settlement. However, there are minor glitches in the modalities of effecting the settlement arrived at between the parties. Hence, in the order dated 22.07.2025, this Court had issued certain directions. Subsequently, it was reported to the Court that the parties were able to successfully resolved all their differences, and articles were also

exchanged. The parties were also present before the Court on 30.07.2025, and a joint memo compromise of the same date, i.e., 30.07.2025, was also recorded in the presence of the parties and their respective counsel. 2.Today, in pursuance of the directions issued on 30.07.2025, the records in FCOP No. 468/2020 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvannamalai, are also before this Court, for recording the compromise and disposing of the said FCOP.

3.The terms of the joint memo of compromise record that the allegations made in the divorce petition stand withdrawn, and the parties have mutually consented to the dissolution of their marriage in the very same pending FCOP No.468 of 2020. Since the parties have already been living separately for several years, the statutory cooling period of six months is waived. 4.In view of the above, this FCOP is disposed of, by dissolving the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent by mutual consent. The joint memo of compromise dated 30.07.2025 shall form part of this order. 5.With the above direction, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is

disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
