Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2015 pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.3297/2014/A4, dated 08-07-2015 and thereby direct the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta which stands in the name of 4th respondent in respect of the property situated in Survey No.262/4 262/5 and 262/6 , Pinjivakkam, Kandigai Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District issue patta in respect of the very same property in the name of the petitioner under section 3 of the Maintenance and welfare of Parents and Seniore Citizen Rules 2009.

ORDER

The petitioner, being the father of the 4th respondent, made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 10.03.2015 seeking to cancell the patta given in favour of the 4th respondent. Despite the fact that notice has been issued to the 4th respondent, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation and without going into the merits of the same, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to conclude the proceedings in pursuant to the representation dated 10.03.2015 made by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as well as to the 4th respondent.
