Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider the petitioners Application vide Application No 2026 / 0123/ 05/ 07557 dated 17.03.2026 in order to measure the petitioners daughters agricultural land to an extent of 60 Cents, comprised in Survey no 34/1B2 (Patta No 2329) situated at Thurinjipatti Village, bommidi Taluk,Dharmapuri District by furnishing the Survey Report thereby fixing boundaries within a stipulated time as fixed by this honble Corut

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.03.2026.
2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 17.03.2026 before the 1st respondents, requesting them to survey and mark the boundaries of the subject land and furnish a report with regard to the same. However, the said application was not at all considered by the 1st respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's application will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st & 2nd respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 17.03.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.
9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the official respondents are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the jurisdictional police station. In such case, the concerned police officer shall provide all necessary protection to the official respondents till the completion of survey at the subject land.
10. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
