This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to grant examination centre to the

Petitioner School Viz. Chanakya Matriculations Higher Secondary School, Pondicherry Road, Tindivanam, Villupuram District for the forthcoming Higher Secondary Examination Scheduled to be conducted during the month of March, 2018, in the light of the recommendations made by the 3rd Respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.12162/A2/2017 dated 12.10.2017.

2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that it would suffice, if the request of the petitioner is considered by the authorities concerned for the next academic year 2018-19.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is required to submit all the necessary documents along with the application to consider the petitioner school as Exam Centre for the next academic year before the month of August 2018. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to submit all the required documents along with the application to the authorities concerned before the month of August 2018. On such submission, the authorities concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and as per law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
