Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to allot one house out of 228 houses which is being constructed in Re. S.F. No.167 , Suriyampalayam Village, Erode Taluk, Erode District in view of the petitioner's application dated 15.6.2015 in accordance with law.

ORDER

The petitioner, made a representation dated 15.06.2015 to the 1st respondent in the Peoples Grievance Day making a request for allotment of one house out of 228 houses, constructed by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board in Re. S.F. No.167, Suriyampalayam Village, Erode Taluk, Erode District.

2. The Revenue Divisional Officer, by his proceedings dated 16.07.2015, directed the 6th respondent to look into the matter and report the same. As no further orders are forthcoming, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation dated 15.06.2015 received in EE/15/06602 and without going into the merits of the same, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and after getting report from the 6th respondent, if not obtained already.
