PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to consider the representation dated 28.11.2019 made by the petitioner herein to remove the encroachments made by the respondent Nos.6 to 12 at reserved area of Children's School and Playground in Muthuvel Layout, T.S.No.79 and 83 to the extent of 57 cents at Ward A, Block 82, Muthuvel Layout, K.K.Road, Villupuram, Villupuram District and pass appropriate orders within stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
(The Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J) The Writ Petition is heard through video conferencing.
2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 6 to 12 based on his representation dated 28.11.2019.
3. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would state that based on the representation of the petitioner, the fourth respondent issued an order of demolition. Challenging the same, a batch of Writ Petition W.P.No.17541 of 2021, etc., have been filed and an interim order has also been issued.
5. In the light of the submissions of the learned State
Government Counsel, we are of the considered opinion that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
