Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to 1/5

consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2025 and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Prakash For Respondents : Mr.T.Gowthaman Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.B.Pachaiyappan Order With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for following prayer:- For issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2025 and to pass orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents for issuance of patta in his name; that since the said representation evoked no response, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition seeking for the aforementioned relief. It is submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, 2/5

if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to dispose of the representation pending before him within a stipulated time.

4. Learned Government Counsel who is assisting learned Additional Advocate General accepts notice for the respondents and submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in a time bound manner.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner 3/5

dated 15.10.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due notice to the petitioner.
