ORDER

Seeking change of name in the 10th Standard Mark Statement and Transfer Certificate, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent on 27.7.2015. As the said

representation has not been disposed of by the respondent so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the said request will have to be made through the Headmaster of the School, in which the petitioner has studied.

3. In view of the above, the petitioner is at liberty to make a request to the Headmaster of the School, in which he studied. As and when such communication is received from the Headmaster concerned, the authority concerned will have to consider the same and take appropriate steps within a period of six weeks thereafter.
