[Order was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to issue Community Certificate to petitioner's children viz., 1) S.S.Maniyammai 2) S.S.Mukilan, mentioning that they belong to "Koravar (DNT) Community" based on the G.O.Ms.No.26 dated 08.03.2019.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader for respondents.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that on the basis of petitioner's application seeking issuance of Community Certificate, a notice was issued to the petitioner calling him to appear for an enquiry on 28.06.2019 and on completion of enquiry, necessary orders would be passed.

4. In view of the said submission, this Court is of the view that there is no need to pass orders on merits. However, the second respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of petitioner's appearance for enquiry.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
