ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 14.9.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 14.9.2015 as against one Rajasekaran and others on the allegation that they are demanding exorbitant interest. Though the complaint was lodged on 14.9.2015, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent the complaint only through post and if a fresh complaint is given, necessary action would be taken by the second respondent police.

In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the second respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the said complaint and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, then the second respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. Upon enquiry, if no offence is made, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders.
